24-7 Ministries: Because the Christian walk never stops

Welcome to Summit ’10. Destination: St. Charles, IL
April 12-15, 2010

Welcome!
Summit ’10 offers you and your youth group an opportunity to connect with others, build authentic Christian community and be challenged to know, love, serve and celebrate God. Our hope is that you do all of the above.

This year our theme is “Celebrating” God through community and connections.” Our theme verse is Psalm 145: 3-4. Do you have it memorized yet?

We are looking forward to the opportunity to serve you and serve alongside you, equip you with valuable tools for your youth group and enjoy four great days of competition, encouragement and growth!

To prepare you for Summit ’10, we have created this Web site. It will be your one-stop resource center for all Summit information. If, after a reasonable time of searching for your answer, you still have questions, please direct them to Summit@awana.org. We will try to respond to you in a timely manner. Please be patient, however, as we receive a great volume of e-mails.

Volunteer Information

The volunteer coordinator will be Melanie Davis.

Please direct your volunteer questions to melanied@awana.org or 207-238-9327 or 207-653-5359.

Volunteer Opportunities
If you have a heart to serve, we have a place for you. Many opportunities exist and are listed on the volunteer form.

Volunteer Registration
To volunteer at Summit please complete both the volunteer online application and the Summit Volunteer form. When you have completed the Summit Volunteer form please e-mail it to melanied@awana.org, fax to 630-540-5501 or mail it to 184 Middle Rd. Fairfield, ME 04937

Each volunteer must pass the Awana Child Protection certification. If you have not completed the certification process, you will be notified by Awana Child Protection. If you are up to date on the certification process you will not receive notification.

Thank you!

Hotel Information
Our host hotel will be the Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles. IL – everything will take place there. Be sure to make your reservations early. Remember to register early for a chance to win a free weekend at Pheasant Run PLUS another winning team will have lunch with Art Rorheim.

Last year, dozens of rooms were cancelled a week prior to the event and some even on-site. This creates a difficult situation for us, as we have promised a minimum number of rooms to receive reduced rental fees. It also is difficult for the hotel as they may turn away other customers. To make reservations call 1-800-999-3319

Registration
Save some green and have your registration form postmarked on or before February 1, 2010. Absolutely no changes or additions will be made after March 12, 2010. All registrations will freeze at that time to enable the planning team to make Fine Arts and Bible Quiz assignments and e-mail them to your youth group leaders.
